Mark Rutter - Head Chef.....

Mark Rutter heads the chef team with one goal and that is to produce an attractive, varied and competitively priced menu to suit all tastes with a broad selection of starters, main courses and desserts.

Where possible, we use fresh not frozen produce and seasonal fresh vegetables, locally purchased meat with as few road miles as possible all checked, stored and cooked to our (and yours), exacting standards...

Everyday Lunch 12pm - 2.30pm*

Sunday Carvery 12pm - 3pm on Sundays - 2 sittings available!

Evenings Everyday

Everyday Dinner 5.30pm - 9.00pm

Our full evening meal menu and Specials Board is available to eat in the restaurant or in the bar area - Booking advised!

Beautiful 'fresh' fish is served from 12pm - 2.30pm & 6pm to 9pm

Fresh Cod, Plaice & Haddock

Sunday is Carvery Day

A traditional Sunday Carvery which is very popular, usually four meats of Beef, Gammon, Turkey & Pork

Roast & New Potatoes, fresh (not frozen) seasonal vegetables, stuffing and Yorkshire Puddings all lavished with REAL GRAVY!

Priced at just £6.95 for an adult Carvery it should not be missed

(children welcome at a reduced price of just £4.95

The Carvery is extremely popular (usually 70-120 each Sunday), so we advise you to book in advance to reserve a table.

Sittings are for arrival between 12pm & 1pm, vacating tables by 1.45pm or second sitting for arrival between 2pm & 3pm.

The Carvery closes after the last arriving people at 3pm

We never rush you to eat your meal, preferring that you sit and enjoy the food unhurried, we therefore ask that you arrive as early as possible for either the 12pm or the 2pm sitting

You may have as much as you wish within reason, but leave room for dessert... 

They are delicious, especially the Mr Whippy ice cream! Mmmmmmmmm

We believe that children should be given the opportunity to eat what you eat off the full menu rather than the same old children's' meals some places dish up, so children under 14 can have a smaller portion at half price (Steaks & Fajitas excluded)

People of an older generation often struggle to eat a large meal and only require a smaller portion, again this can be provided on request and a price reduction of 20% will be offered on the item price
