The Duke was originally built as a railway station in 1907, but the railway never came to Bacton, so The Duke started its life as a freehold public house which it still is today... and much more!

Under new ownership and management from February 26th 2008, The Duke offers superb hospitality which many establishments cannot match, a warm and friendly welcome and a comfortable stay is assured to all our guests.

Our modern bright public bar has ample seating, a well stocked bar with a full range of draught and real ale's, we have a large outside children's play area and beer garden in addition to accommodation to match any hotel standard....

The Duke has a large caravan & camping site with full electric hook available, for those who bring their own bed with them!  Prices are competitive with a large pitch provided and just a short walk to the beach...
